Surgeries:
Surgical Fees are based on final size of the excision and may range from $200-$275 based on this measurement. Still, significant savings from traditional insurance-billing practices. There are occasions, that certain diagnoses or locations of skin cancers, require surgical intervention by a Dermatologist practicing MOHS surgery or a General Surgeon. After a diagnosis is made by biopsy, Golden Rule Skin Clinic will make the appropriate referral to the appropriate expert.
Pathology:
is billed separately by Pro-Path Dermatopathology. The cost of pathology is discussed with every patient at the time of the biopsy. We are happy to offer a significantly discounted fee for pathology through our Direct-Pay agreement with Pro-Path. Additional special stains may be necessary and added by pathology for diagnostic purposes. This additional strain is necessary to make a correct diagnosis. These stains are an additional nominal fee.
Laboratory:
Lab will not be drawn or billed through Golden Rule Skin Clinic. Patient's may utilize the lab of their choice, paying Direct Pay pricing or by utilizing their medical insurance. Upon request, laboratory recommendations can be made by Golden Rule Skin Clinic.
Payment Information:
Cash, checks, HSA Cards, and all major credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at the time of service.

Upon request by the patient, a printed invoice can be provided following your visit. Patients may choose to send this invoice to their private insurance payer for a possible reduction in their yearly deductible.
Medicare and Medicaid are unable to submit receipts
